Jan. 27, 2011 - PRLog -- Hangmen hail from Ottawa Ontario, where it's obvious they rebel against the conservative demographics! The band is an impossible joining of mixed members with varied musical pasts. Neal Sundet (vocals), has a quintessential rock voice that kicks you in the stomach while luring you into each song like individual love affairs. He was frontman for great bands Obsession, Funhouse and Rattlin' Bones, (this latter being offered representation from Ahmet Ertigan.) The Fenton brothers, Paul and John are Canadian music icons. Having had prior success in The Action, The Blushing Brides, The Fenton Brothers and others. Their double guitar attack, (Paul is one of Canada's preeminent slide players,) creates a vibe only brothers who've played together can mystically create. Anchoring the sound is Eric Lackey (bass) and Jean-Marc Meunier aka "Moon Yay" (drums) both parlaying their past musical success into the backbone force of the music.
The 10 song effort has the soul of classic rock, the energy of a speeding train and the afterglow of great sex.
