The Bill is 367 pages long and appears very complex. Few journalists have explored it in detail and it has only been partially explained in most media reports. Dr John Lister, a senior lecturer in Health Journalism at Coventry University, is an award-winning author, journalist and veteran researcher and campaigner with 27 years of analysing NHS and international health policy and explaining to a wider audience. His lecture will offer health professionals, academics, journalists, students and the Coventry public an opportunity to discuss the Bill and its implications.
