In the Draw version of the Diablo, the grooved area adds discretionary weight to the heel area, making it easier for golfers to shut the clubface and avoid slicing. In the Neutral version, the grooved area is more centered to give players a greater ability to shape shots. The way the eye-catching Diablo sits at address suggests it has been designed for maximum forgiveness, and our testing undoubtedly backed this up. For those who struggle with a slice, even the neutral version encouraged an in-to-out swing path and the draw version should definitely help straighten things up. Golfers' review: I love this driver! Solid feel at impact and very accurate. Feels great from start to follow thru. I have a swing speed of 118 mph so I chose the aldila stiff shaft and it is awesome! Great job Callaway! Great Driver. I got the draw face because I tend to slice the ball. Once I changed my grip the draw bias was causing me to pull the ball to the right. Bottom Line: This is a great club to get rid of your slice. This an excellent club,straight and good distance as expected. This club looks great and performs even better. The look and feel promotes the confidence you need to hit consistent tee shots. The head shape is similar to the Diablo driver but much lower profile. It looks good at address and sits square when grounded. The ball flight is a little lower than expected. I used this club 4 times in yesterdays round. A tight par 4, a long par 3, and two par 5 approach shots. The par 4 shot was perfect leaving 109 yards to the hole. The long par three shot landed on the center of the front fringe. One of the two par 5 approach shots was slightly pulled but okay. The other left a 15 eagle putt which I missed. Shot 77, Love these clubs. I have six games now with my new stiff shaft Diablo and in all games; my drives were 30 to 45 yards longer and straighter. I was totally blow away by the ease of the club and how it sits. I tested the Taylormade, Titleist and Cleveland and only the Taylormade came close. Well done Callaway.
