Rush Graphics of Hawthorne New Jersey Expands HP Indigo Digital Printing Operations

Jan. 25, 2011 - PRLog -- Rush Graphics of Hawthorn New Jersey is pleased to announce that they have expanded their digital printing operations and services by acquiring an additional HP Indigo Press.  The new five-color HP Indigo press 3550 is now operating side by side their other HP Indigo 5500 presses.
Installed earlier this year, Rush Graphics has quickly leveraged the potential of digital print in its region and the press has been running regularly at full capacity in two shifts. Additionally, the company has promoted the use of variable data and variable image printing so that it now accounts for some forty percent of jobs.
Founded in 1985 as a New Jersey certified Women's Business Enterprise (WBE), Rush Graphic’s integrated operation includes conventional design, packaging design and mockup, pre-press and specialty digital printing and still has a significant offset litho capability. Its digital focus is on short-run and personalized products, like business cards, brochures, advertising materials, books and other variable data-related products and on demand services. The ability to print, light cyan, and light magenta, the essential flesh colors, has earned the designers at Rush Graphics the respect and the reputation as fine graphic artists. Designers can expand their creativity by utilizing equipment capable of printing 7 colors including white.
