The Most Important Topic in Today's $1 Trillion US Deficit is Teaching Kids Money Principles.

With the trillion dollar deficit looming over them, our children desperately need to learn both how to earn money and how to use it wisely.

Feb. 5, 2011 - PRLog -- The announcement of the increase in our deficit to 1.5 trillion dollars only emphasizes the need for people to understand how money works.
The effects of that deficit are going to change our children's lives. They need the skills to make a life for themselves in this economic situation.

Is your child too young to understand? No way! Your child needs to know the value of money. It will be one of the most important lessons they learn. They can start learning today!

Sadly, even many of the children of the well-off make grave mistakes with their money. They at least have parents who have some of the financial skills to help them. What about the rest of the children?

Miriam Baresh, the founder of MoneySenseKids.com gets right to the point when she asks the questions: "So, how to teach our children these essential lessons? Why is it important to teach our kids about money? My believe is that the sooner kids learn about money principles, the better off they will be as adults in managing money. We need a place where parents can make suggestions and find solutions. That is why I created MoneySenseKids.com."

One of the resources Miriam recommends is Robert Kiyosaki's book "Rich kid, smart kid": Giving your children financial headstart.

Robert Kiyosaki stresses  the point that financial literacy is something that is not learned at school so it is very important for parents to pass on the right ideas concerning money to their children so they can become successful in the future and enjoy the freedom of being financially secure. "Rich kid, smart kid" provides powerful tools and techniques for teaching this.

As part of her endeavor, Miriam joins Robert Kiyosaki, David Bach, Suze Orman and Dave Ramsey, who are among some of the most known individuals in the area of money management.
