Alan Curtis releases "More Than I Can Be"

Alan Curtis has been touring for 5 years as the front man for Canada’s #1 AC/DC tribute Whole Lotta Angus.  Now Alan is a solo artist bringing his own music to audiences all over.  

His new single, “Ten In Heaven” is off of his debut CD “More Than I Can Be”.  This song is about a boy falling in love.  It has one of the best old time beats I’ve heard in over a decade.  Reminiscent of olden rock and roll days of the 50’s and 60’s, this song makes you want to grab your significant other and dance the night away.  It is a hand clapping chorus filled beauty with catchy lyrics and an overall feel good song.   This song is definitely a pop song and crosses over into different genres of music.  Other songs on this wonderful CD stick with the same energy that brings you back to another era in time.  He does this by utilizing certain techniques and instruments that deliver these feelings and emotions and memories.  

Alan Curtis opened for Pat Travers, Loverboy, Edgar Winder, Sweet, Lee Aaron, Streeheart, April Wine and many others.  He has had the #1 most requested song on internet radio station srrocks.com

Alan Curtis is working on his second CD and has a tentative release of spring 2011. He believes that a tour will be probable at that time.
