Jan. 20, 2011 - PRLog -- In this economic climate it's not often that you hear a success story about the little guy who worked hard and made it big. It's even rarer when you think about the fact that the owner of the company started it a little over 25 years ago, with his own sweat and blood. This is the story of a business that is destined to become a corporate name, a business that will be on the lips of companies nationwide. The name of that company is Building Maintenance of Today.

Jim Redmond started his cleaning and maintenance company many years ago from his home in West Philly. He's been a fireman for years, when he was injured from a fall off a firetruck ladder - an injury that put him in the hospital and ended his career as a Philly fireman. Fortunately he'd already started a small cleaning service with the help of his wife. When things seemed the bleakest, Jim jumped at the opportunity to make his business grow, enlisting the help of relatives, a few hires, and even the children.

From there Jim took his business into the commercial market, bought and sold franchises and janitorial companies, and finally settled into corporate, retail, and even hospital cleaning services as part of Health Care of Today. He and his company gained a Green Certification, and with the help of their daughter (who went to college for business) the business has taken off by leaps and bounds. Currently they live and work in the SoCal market.

Building Maintenance of Today and Jim Redmond are proud to announce that they are gearing up to go national. With this of course comes great responsibility, but Jim and his company are ready for it. With a sterling reputation for careful cleaning and great service, Building Maintenance of Today will bring their talent to the rest of the nation.
