William-Michael “Mike” Jackson Joins the DUEL Advisory Committee

Jan. 8, 2011 - PRLog -- DUEL athletics (DUEL), an online retailer and athletic clothing and apparel lifestyle brand, announced today that William-Michael “Mike” Jackson has joined the DUEL Advisory Committee.

Mike Jackson is a mixed martial artist who competes in both Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) and Boxing.  Mike began training in MMA in 2008 under Jermaine Anugwom in College Station, TX. He currently has two gyms which he calls home, Windy Sport & Fitness in College Station, TX and Gracie Barra Champions Forest in Spring, TX. Prior to training in MMA, Mike developed his boxing skills in Missouri City, TX under Coach Cliff Miles of Mo. City Boxing. While training in MMA, Mike has cross trained in several disciplines of martial arts including Muay Thai, Judo, Jiu Jitsu and Wrestling.

Shortly after beginning his training in MMA, Mike decided to test himself by stepping into the cage for the first time. After winning his first fight, the thrill and excitement of competition drove him to pursue Mixed Martial Arts as a career. Mike is currently signed with B3 Sports Management and is a boxing coach at Windy Sport and Fitness in College Station, TX.

Mike produces his own web show, Fighters Talk. You can find episodes on http://www.MikeTheTruth.com. Mike also Video Blogs various local Houston MMA and Texas MMA events giving mixed martial arts fans a behind the scenes look including highlights from the fights and entertaining commentary.
