Brake Pads
Brake pads at Midway Motors cost approximately $170 to be replaced. To determine when brake pads need changed customers should check their pads and make sure there isn’t less than 1/4 inch visible of the pad. Customers should also notice any screeching sound they hear when they brake, or sounds of scraping on metal. If scraping of metal is apparent, customers may have damaged rotors. Having a burnt out light is illegal and driving with one increases the risk of receiving a ticket, which can cost upwards of $150 depending on the state. That is considerably more than a $5 bulb. Having a burnt out light can also increase the risk of an accident occurring. Clogged Fuel Filter
There are many signs that your fuel filter may be in need of inspection. These signs include problems starting the engine, difficulty accelerating, and sounds caused from engine misfiring. Neglecting these signs, will result in a car that will barely run, aside from that the vehicles fuel injectors will need to be replaced. This could add up to over $1,000 in repairs.
