CES 2011 is nearly here and we are eager to start wandering the floor of the Las Vegas Conference Center in search of the biggest new release. Last year, CES was dominated by 3D but what can we look forward to in 2011? Find out after the jump in our predictions: What to expect from CES 2011.

3D Everywhere
If CES 2010 was all about 3D, CES 2011 looks like it will be all about , 3D as well. We expect there to be a ridiculous number of 3D glasses, both universal goggles that can be used with many different systems and even some designer 3D pairs like these from Glasses-free 3D will be big this year too, with Sony and Sharp both set to unveil new Autostereoscopic displays that  will work without the need for silly specs.

Windows 8
Microsoft potentially has a lot riding on CES 2011. The company is expected to use the show to give us our first taste of Microsoft Windows 8 as well as the new range of Windows-based tablet computers. These are said to be more business-focused than the iPad and some models may come with keyboards.
Windows 8 is said to include an App Store, not unlike certain other operating systems and to bring big improvements to both usability and energy efficiency but, then again, what version of Windows wasn’t meant to boost both of those?

Honeycomb and Gingerbread
Android tablets are sure to be a big feature at CES 2011 and we wouldn’t be too surprised if we got another early look at a tablet running Android 3.0 (Honeycomb) as MSI, Motorola and Lenovo are all known to be working on new Android tablets for release early this year.
Other tech trends we expect to see at CES 2011 include cloud storage, media streaming and more apps than you can possibly imagine. Whatever CES 2011 brings, we will be there to bring you the latest news.
