Pangkor Laut, Malaysia voted as One of the “World’s Most Romantic Islands” by Travel + Leisure

Travel+Leisure searched the globe to compile a list of the “World’s Most Romantic Islands,” a place where couples can “help start—or stoke—the flame.”

Dec. 21, 2010 - PRLog -- Pangkor Laut in Malaysia was voted the world’s 20th most romantic island. Travel+Leisure describes the island as: “A 300-acre sprawl of jungle, sheltered coves, and pristine beachfront off the west coast of Malaysia, this single-island resort is the province of spotlight-shy celebrities and sybarites alike.”

Pangkor Laut is a privately owned island located three miles off the West Coast of Malaysia, along the Straits of Malacca. The island is home to just one unique resort with the slogan: “One Island. One Resort.” Guests may enjoy a wide variety of activities, including island hopping, snorkeling, golf, yoga, taking a cruise or relaxing at the Spa Village.
