Ramey Toyota Reports More Than $1 Million in Donations from Toyota TogetherGreen Partnership in 2010

Dec. 21, 2010 - PRLog -- Ramey Toyota, a WV Toyota dealer, has released details about the green projects completed through TogetherGreen, a joint initiative between Toyota and Audubon, in 2010. This program, which distributed over $1 million to various environmental and conservation projects this year, is back by a $20 million grant courtesy of Toyota.

Over 130 projects have already received funding from TogetherGreen and several others are expected to receive funding during the next three years. The money helps to fund programs for causes such as wildlife conservation and awareness, agricultural production, and diverse ecosystems. Awards are given to projects and fellows with innovative and inspiring ideas.

“The conservation solutions pioneered by TogetherGreen Innovation Grant winners are inspiring models of both ingenuity and conservation commitment,” said David Yarnold, president of Audubon.

This year’s highest-value grant went to a continued partnership with Audubon New York and The Nature Conservancy. This program provides environmental education for students through various summer experiences.
