Juaquin Malphurs, stage name Waka Flocka Flame, is a popular hip-hop artist under the management of Mizay Entertainment and signed to Warner Brothers Music Group.  Hailing from Jamaica Queens, New York, this rapper relocated to Atlanta, GA where he teamed up with Gucci Mane’s 1017 Brick Squad, together they have gained the support and much respect in the streets.  Waka’s  music is highly energetic generating a positive vibe to his fans. Unfortunately, because he is best known for his gangster raps and crunk sound, his persona is often misinterpreted.  
    Waka Flocka Flame broke into the music industry in late 2009 with the unexpected hit “Oh Let’s Do It.” He followed up with popular songs such as “Hard in the Paint” and “Gun Sounds”, demanding attention.  With his rapid growing fan base he soon dropped a series of mixtapes including Lebron Flocka James, Lebron Flocka James 2 and Salute Me or Shoot Me. Finally in October of 2010 Waka Flocka dropped his highly anticipated album Flockavelli, featuring the hit single “No Hands.” Waka Flocka  Flame is the under rated entertainer that stays hungry for success.

Aside from the rap world, Waka enjoys giving back. During the Thanksgiving holiday of 2009, Waka Flocka along with DTLR and Mizay Entertainment gave away 2,000 thanksgiving dinners to families in need. Last Christmas, Waka took the time to provide less fortunate families with gifts like toys, electronics, and even vehicles and this year he is doing it again. Over the past couple of months of 2010, he has performed at charity concerts and participated in other charity giveaways. Waka Flocka and Mizay Entertainment are currently planning their annual Christmas giveaway and promise to continue to give back to the community.
   Juaquin Malphurs, Waka Flocka Flame, Murder Man Flocka, or whatever you may know him by is an admirable entertainer, friend, and son. But first he is a genuine person.  Though he may be portrayed as a hardcore cold individual, he is truly a loveable and loyal person. It’s not hard to fall in love with Waka Flocka Flame’s  bubbly personality because it’s so magnetic.
