Attorney William Mattar Keeps Buffalo Roads Safe This Holiday Season

Dec. 20, 2010 - PRLog -- Buffalo, New York  - William Mattar Law Offices and Designated Drivers of Buffalo will be teaming up once again for the 3rd annual Safe & Sober Ride Home Program this New Year’s Eve.  Each year thousands of partygoers head out for a night of fun and festivities but may end up making the mistake of driving home while under the influence.  William Mattar hopes to reduce the amount of drunk drivers on the road by offering free rides home for drivers and their cars.

The program provides safe rides home on the night of New Year’s Eve for pickups originating within the city of Buffalo.  Free rides will be available January 1, 2011 from 12:00am until 4:00am while supplies last.

To arrange a safe ride simply call Designated Drivers of Buffalo and they will send two uniformed, experienced drivers to pick up you and your car.  While patrons typically pay for this convenient service, attorney William Mattar will be picking up the tab during the New Year’s Eve Safe & Sober Ride Home Program.  This program pays for rides originating in the city of Buffalo with a maximum drop-off distance of 20 miles within Western New York.

To request a ride, individuals can call Designated Drivers of Buffalo at (716) 713-7703.  Rides are provided only to the individual’s residence – not to other drinking locations.  Due to the high volume of requests, rides cannot be guaranteed for everyone who calls.  However, every attempt will be made to accommodate all requests.

New Year’s Eve Safety Tips:

-   If you are hosting a party, provide nonalcoholic beverages options.
-   Decide on your transportation alternative before going out.
