VICKSBURG, Miss. – Small business owners across the State of Mississippi will have the opportunity to support each other's efforts with a new advertising buying group called magnoliashophouse.com.

“We are not another online advertising site.  We are an advertising buying group that uses a website as a platform to bring exposure to our small businesses, organizations, and start-ups,” said Gwen Payne, founder of magnoliashophouse.com.

Magnoliashophouse.com, which was launched by Hudson-Payne Sales Boosters LLC, provides a centralized location for consumers to shop small businesses, plan vacations and support local start-ups.  The platform features daily deep bargains and weekly auctions, all hosted by the business owners who join the advertising group.

"Our small businesses have so much going on, and so much going unnoticed,” said Payne.  "It is now more critically important than ever for small businesses to ramp up their marketing, grab hold of some major exposure and prepare for increases in sales."

To join the group, business owners can purchase advertising packages starting at $200 per year.  This includes an option to have a website designed, which will remain online for at least a full year.  This will allow organizations to have an online presence that they otherwise might not be able to afford.  

As the group continues to grow, their collective advertising buying power expands with it.  This allows the group to pool together its assets to purchase major advertising on television, radio, billboards, newspapers, magazines and the Internet.  The goal is to achieve an advertisement investment of $130,000 every six months.

"We are committed to launching this advertising group statewide to help the more than 50,000 Mississippi businesses grow and expand together," Payne said.  "While advertising is essential, it is unfortunate that many small businesses cannot afford it.  This is a great opportunity for small businesses, organizations, city tourism offices, and start-ups in Mississippi to come together and support each other's efforts to succeed."

The company plans to market Mississippi businesses in Mississippi, Tennessee, Alabama, Louisiana and Arkansas.  It also has vast potential to reach targeted audiences online.

Merchants do not sign contracts, and pay only once per year to advertise.  Once they are members, they can even offer “Daily Deep Bargains” and auction off products and services, which they can delegate as they see fit.
