After taking care of all the bureaucratic and the veterinarian aspects we move on to the logistic part: handling the flight plans including flight tickets for family members and pets, arranging shuttles to/from the airport, locating kenneling facilities for overnight stops and airline approved kennels for the flight."

While these first two stages are common to both pet owners that are traveling and those that relocate with pets, the third stage is relevant to pet owners that relocate internationally. Dr. Kreiner: "Relocating with pets is just about the same as relocating with children, they will need their doctor, their food, maybe even a sitter etc. One of our most demanded services is the Flight Management service in which we investigate the new location (relying on our database) and provide them with all the information and solutions required for instance: which vaccinations and/or preventive treatments are recommended in their new environment, veterinarian health centers that are open 24-7 for emergencies, what pet-products (food, drugs and accessories) are available at their new home."

And although there are countries that are difficult to import pets into, such as South Africa that require pet shipment as cargo or Australia and UK that require quarantine, it is doable!
