Mango Languages Puts Words Into Action With Support of "I Have a Dream" Foundation

Mango Languages will make its new Mango Passport® product available at no cost to the “I Have A Dream” Foundation.
 
Dec. 17, 2010 - PRLog -- Mango Languages today announced it will be making its new Mango Passport® product available at no cost to the “I Have A Dream” Foundation in order to assist the organization with its mission of equipping children from low-income communities with the skills, knowledge, and resources they need to gain entry to higher education and succeed in college and beyond. Beverly Cornell, director of marketing for Mango, made the announcement.

Introduced earlier this month, Mango Passport® is a language learning program that goes beyond teaching grammar, vocabulary and conjugation and also provides engaging content, intuitive interactive tools and a comprehensive learning methodology. The courses provide the user with not only the conversation skills needed to successfully communicate in a second language but also a better understanding of the new language and culture.

Commenting on his company’s support of “I Have A Dream”, Mango Languages Chief Executive Officer Jason Teshuba said, “Being able to read, speak and understand multiple languages provides children with a benefit that will pay great dividends in years to come, as our educational and business environments continue to become more global in nature. The earlier someone starts the learning process, the more impactful the results prove to be. The “I Have A Dream” Foundation is working to ensure that all children have the opportunity to pursue higher education. Local “I Have A Dream” chapters sponsor cohorts of students in low-income communities and work with these “Dreamers” from elementary school all the way through high school. Upon high school graduation, each Dreamer receives guaranteed tuition assistance for higher education. Currently, more than 3,100 Dreamers are on the pathway to college in 17 states, Washington, D.C., and New Zealand, following more than 11,000 Dreamers who came before them.
