Appealing Bali Tours –Explore Bali in a VW Bug Convertible

Visitors can enjoy this unique ride while exploring the island and its lesser known but enticing attractions.

The tour starts at the hotel where the driver of a vintage Volkswagen Convertible will come to pick up the guest and take them to the ancient rock carving of Yeh Pulu where they will see the complex rock carving and walk the paddy rice fields nearby. From here travelers will go to Gunung Kawi. Gunung Kawi is a temple complex from the 11th century. The place is also known as the ‘Mountain of Poetry’.

Driving up travelers will reach Gunung Batur where they will see the 12 km wide, cauldron-like volcano, Mount Batur – Bali’s most active volcano. As you continue on this tour you will stop at small villages and visit some temple and end the first day at a seaside town with volcanic beaches.

The next day travelers will go to Brama Arama Vihara, a beautiful Buddhist sanctuary. On this day travelers will also go to a fruits and vegetable market and to Jatiluwih, where you will learn about rice cultivation, a day truth with the average Balinese farmer.

On the final day of the tour travelers will drive up to Bali’s second highest mountain to visit the Batukaru Temple. From here travelers will set off to a special location where they will start a 1 hour trek along this beautiful valley. Finally travelers will visit the garden Temple of Taman Ayun in Mengwi. This temple is well known amongst locals and tourist alike and has symbolic layout of moats and islands. The intriguing sight was built by a Raja in the 18th century and was renovated in the later years to sustain its beauties.
