ESCO has been certified in OHSAS 18001:2007

Dec. 13, 2010 - PRLog -- Engineered Arresting Systems Corporation (ESCO),  has been awarded certification to the international standard for Occupational Health & Safety - OHSAS 18001:2007, and recertification to the ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System and ISO 14001:2004 Environmental Management System.

The certification audit of ESCO conducted by the recognized internationally recognized certification agency URS, LLC (United Registrar Services, LLC) was completed successfully the week of November 29, 2010. The registration certificate issued to ESCO, its staff competence, procedures, processes and practices comply with the internationally recognized standards. The OHSAS 18001:2007 certificate confirms that the company has built the management system assuring compliance with the law as the monitoring of operational and professional risks are conducted regularly. ESCO manages these risks, protecting its employees safety and health while on the job.

The decision to adopt this international standard reflects a determination to reduce all occupational health and safety risks in operations and to independently verify our programs through internationally recognized methods. “ESCO’s Health, Safety and Environmental performance record is already very good.
