'Tis the season and here is an ideal opportunity to give to those less fortunate. KMS Tools Coquitlam is encouraging all to turn out for its Smokie BBQ Fundraiser December 9 - 11. Share Food Bank hampers will be on premises for donations and KMS will be accepting donated tools for its 'Tools for Cuba' program.

Filled hampers will be directed by the food bank to help make this Christmas joyful for a single mom and her son, a mom and dad and their son, and a single adult in need. All proceeds from the BBQ will be donated to the Share food bank to help many more besides.

Along with the smokies and food drive, KMS is reviving its successful 'Tools for Cuba' program this year through Emblaze.ca. Customers are encouraged to donate usable tools for container shipment to Cuba, where they will be distributed among needy people across the country who will put them to good use - rebuilding homes, farms and workplaces in desperate need of repair.
Customers may drop off tools at any KMS location and Emblaze will issue a tax receipt for the donation.
