Pam Lyn King & The Royal Ruckus new EP is set for release

The group Pam Lyn King & The Royal Ruckus have been together for 4 years.  All members of the group with the exception of Pam Lyn herself, graduated from the Los Angeles Music Academy.  While fronted by Pam Lyn, the engine that powers The Royal Ruckus features three-time Grammy nominee and Emmy Award-winning Bassist Philip Bynoe, as well as the thundering drums of Gary Fergueson, whose credentials include Stevie Nicks, Eddie Money, The New Radicals, K.D. Lang, and the legendary Ray Charles.  Not to be outdone, the Royal Ruckus employs the musical talents of Jackson Allen and Giacomo Picasso on dueling guitars.  For Pam Lyn finding the right musicians was hard, but now they are a powerhouse who’s ready to rock.

Pam Lyn King & The Royal Ruckus is proud to release their latest single, “Mad As Hell”, which is off of their yet to be released EP, “Piece of This”.  This single is a true to life part of Pam Lyn’s life.  Sometimes it takes more than just being done.  Sometimes you need to be mad as hell to truly be done with it.   The song’s premise is about a guy who gets caught cheating and [she] kicks him out.  This song is driven by an edgy country/rock rhythm with a catchy beat and verses that you can’t get out of your head.  Her vocals are powerful, crisp, and capture your attention from the very first note.  She writes them and delivers them as she sees them.  Pam Lyn King & The Royal Ruckus are a group to beat.  This single captures the essence of the entire upcoming CD because all the tunes are radio friendly, memorable and sustainable in this industry.  And that delivery - there is no compromise on the groups part.  They prove it with every song they put out there.

“Piece of This” is scheduled for completion on January 1, 2011.  It will be released in its physical format as well as digitally.  

Pam Lyn King & The Royal Ruckus opened for Jessica Simpson, Leann Rimes, Clay Walker, 38 Special and Trace Adkins.  They will also be playing a lot in Las Vegas over the next few months.
