Free Event to Announce Host of 2018 World Cup

Dec. 2, 2010 - PRLog -- Carolina Consulting Ltd office's overlook The Scoop next to City Hall where a free event is being held today (2 December) for Londoners to be able to watch the decision of where the 2018 World Cup will be held.
The event will be screening the decison live from Zurich and will feature sports entertainment, street dancers, Streets Utd artistes, freestyle soccer, Dj's and beatboxers.  Boris Johnson, Mayor of London was quoted 'We are nearing the climax of the Englands campaign to host the 2018 World Cup, and it's white knuckle stuff'.

England's campaign gathered momentum after David Beckham, Prince William and David Cameron made appearences in Zurich to back the bid and confidently admitted England have a strong chance of hosting a second World Cup.

This free event in London City will outline London's role and its fantastic facilities as one of the twelve prosepective host cities.

The event is backed by Visit London along with BT, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Npower, Morrisons, British Airways and Umbro, England's 2018 bid sponsers.
