BT Automotive Tires completes Major site upgrade

You will notice that this weekend the site has gone through some major upgrades. There were a few blips and there me be some minor bugs to work out but all in all the upgrade has gone very well. This is our first major upgrade since 2005. Below I will cover some of the key features of this upgrade.

BLOG

A brand blog was added this weekend as a tool to update our customers and readers on changes in the tire indusry as well as to give you breaking news and new product announcements to hopefully keep our customers better informed. We will aslo from time to time include some how to articles to help with your automotive and tire needs.

http://lawheelsdirect.com You will now notice that we have converted our custom wheels section to it's own stand alone website. This move was to make it easier to search for wheels in one click and create a site dedictaed to custom wheels. We hope you find this site useful and please bookmark the new wheels site. Here you can search for custom wheels for your vehicle with our easy to use navigation. You have options of searching for custom wheels by year/make or model or you can search wheels by brand if you know what you are looking for. We have also added some new wheel models with more coming in 2011. The site is clean and easy to use.

http://www.lapartsdirect.com Much like our custom wheels we have created a dedicated site for our car and truck accessories. Again our feeling was having a stand alone site for accessories makes searching for accessories a one click simple site that will help our visitors to browse accessories without having to thumb through other sections. Please bookmark this page for future refference. You will also notice that our navigation structure for accessories is much easier to use. Searching for parts and accessories has never been easier. Many new parts have also been added as well. We tried tto complete this upgrade just in time for holiday shopping. Not bad considering today is the day before Cyber Monday. So shop away for truck accessories and car accessories and find the holiday deals just in time for Christmas this year.

All of our new pages and sites are accesible from the main page http://www.barretire.com as well as links on our new sites. Please take the time and check out these enhancements and we are open to any feedback. More enhancements will be coming in late 2010 and early 2011 so do keep checking back.  We will try to not have any down time before Christmas and do notice that the server is now much faster so navigation through the sites should be quicker. Not to mention each new site is hosted on seperate servers to increase load time. This will also hopfefully help in the future with any unforseen server outages as any outage should not take out the whole site only sections.
