An American Patriot Program 'Salute to the Nominator'

TAPP salutes those who nominated the 2010 league of American Patriot Award recipients.

Nov. 24, 2010 - PRLog -- The American Patriot Program selected 13 American Patriot Award recipients in 2010 thanks to the active participation in the program by American's throughout the United States.

TAPP's national director Wes Hazlett praised the effort with a 'salute to the nominator' of the American Patriot Award recipient.  Hazlett emphasized, "Without the caliber of American who takes the time to know and to nominate our American combat wounded Veterans- we would not have such tremendous recipients."

TAPP worked with a number of incredible organization's throughout the 2010 American Patriot Award season.  These organization's served as the 'boots on the ground' and worked closely with TAPP to produce honor events throughout America.

Hazlett credits the following organizations and their respective 'Captain's of Compassion'  for their hard work and strong ability to work well for the common goal of enriching the lives of combat wounded Veterans.

*  America Supports You Texas and the tenacious work ethic of Jack and John Barnes,
  Melissa Kalka, Donna Hogue, Kirk and Candy Kuykendall, and the entire ASYT team who
  produced a phenomenal tribute to the families and dear friends of 86 Gold Star Families..

*  American Legion Post #218 and the leadership of Commander Wayne Duckworth.

*  The Arkansas Army and Air National Guard and the diligence of Captain Christopher  
   Heathscott.

*  Operation Military Embrace and the 'true grit' of Jerry and Debbie Reed.

*  Our Fallen Soldier and the superb efforts of Jack Colnot and Kelly Luisi.

*  John Chestna with the strong support of Jerry Kerr and  American Legion Post #797.

*  Silver Star Families and the enduring compassion of Sunshine Roth.

*  The United States Military Historical Collection and the strong effort of Jon Lindstrand.

*  The Minnesota Army National Guard and the great effort of Captain Kristen AugĂ©.

Hazlett concluded, "Everybody that TAPP was fortunate to work with throughout the 2010 award season made our entire team even more focused on this mission."

The American Patriot Program is currently preparing for the second tour stop for Operation Fire and Ice.  The Minnesota Wild NHL hockey team is hosting the December American Patriot Program Honor Event at the Xcel Energy Center on December 20th in St. Paul, Minnesota.

TAPP also announced that the maiden voyage of its Patriot Series clothing line 'One Hero at a Time' will bust out of the MWC Enterprises printing room January 1st.
