The dramatic features and characteristic of the white tiger capture my attention. White tigers differ from the standard orange and black tigers in appearance only; as they are albino tigers and carry the recessive trait for albinism. They are characterized by having a creamy white coat with random black/brown stripes, bright blue eyes, and a pink nose.  White tigers are extremely beautiful animals but apparently are struggling for survival. In nature, white tigers have difficulty camouflaging themselves in their natural habitat.

Despite the fact that white tigers are endangered, some are still captive and kept in zoos. Owners of these endangered white tigers say that these animals make very popular exhibits and help increasing the zoos revenues as well as attendance, allowing people to see these beautiful creatures and raising awareness regarding the tiger’s struggle for survival.

Splatter Tiger

With this design, Marlon used the white tiger adding a touch of abstract by using splatter. Because he wanted people to be aware that another species is in need of conservation and in need of saving. Marlon states “Let us save these animals and others, big or small, for our children and for the children of our children. So they can see how beautiful the creation of our Almighty God. Every creation of our God has a purpose in this world”.
