Stuart Dawson Becomes a Motorkwik Franchisee

Nov. 23, 2010 - PRLog -- Motorkwik is pleased to announce that further franchise territories have now become operational. Recent addition to the Motorkwik team, Stuart Dawson, has taken ownership of Motorkwik territories in Cheshire and Shropshire.  

Stuart’s background is in mechanical engineering, and a career spanning 34 years has seen him successfully fulfil a number of senior management roles. Stuart will be calling on his vast management experience as he embarks on his journey as a Motorkwik franchise business manager.  

Stuart moved to picturesque Shropshire seven years ago, in order to enjoy the beautiful surroundings.  Finding Shropshire to be an area offering little by way of employment for someone of an engineering background, Stuart started to look into local businesses and franchises. With Franchises being something that Stuart had pondered for over a decade, he felt that the time was right to commit to the idea, and choose a franchise to become part of.  

It was a family debate that sparked off Stuart’s interest in Motorkwik. The family were discussing finding the right sort of franchise at the right sort of price, when Stuart decided to set his son a challenge: ‘Find me an automotive franchise with a £25k budget.’ Following some research, Stuart Dawson Jr. presented his father with some research that Stuart simply could not ignore:  the Motorkwik Franchise Opportunity.

Stuart has opted to become a franchise business manager, purchasing territories in the Cheshire and Shropshire areas. ‘The territories I have chosen surround my home,’ says Stuart, ‘giving me the opportunity to directly have a positive impact on the development of local businesses, in and around the area where I have chosen to live. This also ties in with one of Motorkwik’s key aims, to promote and support local businesses.’

When asked how he felt in anticipation of starting his new business venture, Stuart said ‘I am sure I am not alone in experiencing a whole range of different emotions, from fear and anxiety, through to exhilaration and excitement. I actually feel alive again, and cannot wait to start telling the people out there about Motorkwik!’
