Nov. 23, 2010 - PRLog -- The Early Learning Coalition of Southwest Florida (ELC) has partnered with Barnes & Noble Booksellers to host a Holiday Book Drive from November 23rd to December 31st.

The Fort Myers Barnes & Noble location will be participating in the drive with hopes of collecting 800-1,000 books. Customers will have an opportunity to donate a book to be placed under the ELC tree.  At the end of the drive all books will be given to a variety of ELC programs including Literacy Buddies, Islands of Excellence and select ELC Core Centers.

“We are excited to work with Barnes & Noble bookstores again,” commented Jill Corbett, Assessment Coordinator for the ELC. “The success of this book drive will provide our program with the resources needed to continue helping local children with literacy.”
