Requirements and Fees for Becoming an IGAL Member

Nov. 19, 2010 - PRLog -- IGAL (International Grouping of Accountants and Lawyers) is an international professional network comprising legal and accounting firms. It is compulsory for all members to attend regular IGAL meetings in order to gain personal knowledge of members in jurisdictions to whom they refer their clients.

Requirements:
IGAL conducts a preliminary due-diligence on all prospective IGAL firms, carefully considering their reputation via peer feedback and recommendations, listings in international directories and membership in other professional associations. Prospective members are then asked to complete a detailed IGAL Membership Application form.

Fees:
New members pay a one-time initiation fee, which is allocated towards a mandatory on-site office visit by IGAL.   The current membership fees are given below:

1 partner firm: £550.00
2 - 3 partners firm: £700.00
4 - 8 partners firm: £950.00
More than 9 partners firm: £1100.00
