Multi-Talented Artist Tenin Releases New Video "Destiny," Her Cover of Fear by Drake

Nov. 18, 2010 - PRLog -- (Plainfield, NJ - November 18, 2010)  Tenin Baba Ndanani, the multi-talented singer/songwriter, actress and producer, recently released her newest video, entitled "Destiny".  The song is a cover to "Fear" by Drake.   Tenin's version is soulful and compelling, chronicling her own journey from fear to faith to embrace her destiny.  

"For a long time, singing was something I did-- just because. But, when I sang at my grandmother's funeral (at age 14) something special came out. I realized that God had actually blessed me to sing", Tenin explains.  Inspired by a family history tour of the South this past summer, Tenin was especially struck by her ancestor's legacy of struggle,  survival and legacy.  "No one is here by accident! I am not by accident and I have something to accomplish with my life."

When she arrived back at her Plainfield, NJ home, Tenin and her photographer/videographer sister, Azumi, collaborated to produce the music and video for "Destiny".  Tenin recorded and engineered the project at WBN Productions studio.  Azumi, a senior information technology student at Rutgers University, shot and edited the video.

Tenin has enjoyed success as an entertainer throughout the tri-state area and is determined to follow her destiny.  As life follows art, Tenin is pursuing her destiny as she plans the release of her full-length debut album (a Hip Hop/R&B/Gospel/Pop blend) set for release in June 2011.  Looking back at how far she's come, Tenin is optimistic. "My music speaks to a lot of people. It's life music that anyone can relate to.  I want people to feel uplifted after listening."  Tenin is currently preparing for her first lead role in a feature-film as well as booking performance and speaking engagements nationwide.
