Yakitori Boy Is Mixing The Best Of Two Worlds By Creating a Japanese Thanksgiving Menu

To make the restaurant even more authentic they have a Karaoke bar as well as private Karaoke rooms in their upstairs lounge. Many famous Japanese personalities such as Moritmoto are known to visit Yakitori Boy on a regular basis, as well as people wanting to enjoy their night out doing something different and fun.
For Thanksgiving Yakitori Boy have decided to mix the best of two worlds; Japanese traditional and American Thanksgiving. “The idea came after talking about our favorite Thanksgiving food with a couple of my friends.  All of us love Japanese food, but we are also huge fans of Thanksgiving traditions and the Thanksgiving flavors,” Sais Kei Kurimoto, owner of Yakitori Boy.  “So we decided to make the perfect Thanksgiving menu!
“On the menu are Miso Carrot Ginger Soup, Corn Yakitori, Cranberry Chicken Teriyaki as well as Pumpkin Tempura with Sea Salt, and what would Thanksgiving be without mashed potatoes. We are serving Sweet Wasabi Mashed Potatoes and for desert is a Pumpkin Pie Martini.”
Kei Kurimoto is very excited about the new menu “There are many Japanese restaurants in the city, but no one have ever thought about bringing in the most traditional American food and making a fusion like this. Yakitori Boy is all about mixing the best of two cultures and this is the ultimate fusion.”
Yakitori Boy will offer the Thanksgiving menu from Saturday November 21st until Saturday November 27th.



Yakitori Boy offers two levels of upscale entertainment. On the first level is a Japanese restaurant with one of the most skilled Japanese Sushi chefs in Philadelphia. He is just as particular with his hot food as he is with his delectable sushi that at times borders a work of art. The second floor is home to a lounge and Japanese inspired Karaoke rooms. Here you can get the experience you desire, whether that means hanging with friends in our open lounge or renting the complete lounge for a private soiree or even reserving one of the private rooms for you and your group of friends.
