| GOP following the CP-USA "Cost Cutting Road Map"Republicans are talking the talk of the Conservative Party-USA but will they walk the Conservative walk? So far, they are!
By: Mark Williams "We were a little worried there for a moment when (Senator) Mitch McConnell vowed to fight our demand for a ban on earmarks” said Williams. McConnell had objected to the idea and briefly vowed to defeat a non-binding vote within the Republican Caucus to end Congressional Earmarks, known to citizens as "pork." CP-USA Chairman and Chief Political Officer H. Michael Hervey, author of the "Cost Cutting Road Map" cautions that this brief push back from a long time, powerful establishment politician is “... proof that Conservative Americans are not truly represented even in the wake of the stunning results of this past November 2.” Hervey added "They clearly need adult supervision." Both Hervey and Williams praised the incoming GOP leadership for embracing and vowing to enact much of the CP-USA plan, which in addition to the ban on earmarks contains other major initiatives put forth by the newly emerging Second Party. Those action items include: cutting Congressional and Federal employee pay (other than uniformed military) and defunding and repealing Obamacare.
