Tea Party Leader: We must "take over" GOP to win

Mark Williams (Tea Party Express) rips Tea Partiers who shy from involvement in party poltics and third parties... says "..if all you do is tea party and vote do us a favor and stay home." Says Democrats are "evil", Republicans "good."

Feb. 11, 2011 - PRLog -- Williams writes:  The mass migration of Americans from the two major parties over the past generation has left both the Democrat and Republican parties subject to the control of the relatively few who bother to participate.

This is less of an issue on the Democrat side of the aisle simply because that party’s history is one of special interests aligned against Constitutional absolutes, such as individual liberty and rights as Creator endowed attributes.  A party that not only stood to protect the right to own Africans but then attempted to break away to form its own nation to that end (the Confederate States of America) and then upon being defeated in that effort commenced on a century long filibuster to derail the implementation of rights for their former “property” cannot be reformed by increased contributions of additional like minds.

However, this movement away from party involvement is catastrophic to the Union when applied to the Republican ranks.  There it weakens the only barrier to the abandonment of our legacy in favor of the standard of servitude for the masses, an affliction suffered by Mankind since we first developed organized societies.

Politically correct labels like “moderate” or feel-good non-affiliations like calling oneself an “independent” are in reality synonymous with “uninvolved” and “cowardly.”  They signify a willingness to leave the hard work up to somebody else and a lack of desire to join the fight.

We are witnessing nothing less than a battle between right and wrong in which the dark forces of evil are assaulting all that is good for dominance over the heart of the United States and thus end this noble experiment in Human Rights we inherited and have a sacred obligation to protect and pass on.

By only showing up on Election Day and voting for a third party a patriot has left all the choices for candidate and party platform up to those who bothered to show up and make the effort throughout the process leading up to the Election Day confirmation or rejection of their attempts.

If affiliated with either major party yet all you do is vote then you are simply a spectator derelict in your duties as a citizen, especially in a time when our nation and freedoms are under assault from within.  The rest of us simply cannot afford your lack of interest and commitment.

Not being involved in the process beyond some grade school version of civics makes a citizen nothing more than a bystander, a detached observer prepared only to take pot shots from the cheap seats in the peanut gallery while wrapped in some kind of self-righteous and totally phony cloak of “hey I did my part.”  If all you do is tea party and vote, do us all a favor and stay home.
