The Test covers to operation of all major mechanical components of a truck. Typically the test begins with an examination of the braking systems of commercial vehicles. Next comes the suspension test, which looks at the operation of the chassis, springs, shocks and linkages of the vehicles. Finally comes the smoke and emmision tests. These examine the health of the engine and the level of CO2 emmisions that the vehicle produce. Murphys are happy to announce that we now offer an online application dservice so you can select your HGV Test or LGV Test online and select the date and time that you require your test. There is no upfront payment and you can reschedule if you wish. The new testing section also has a number of guides to the doe and VTn test, it allows customers to make informed choices as to the condition of their vehicle prior to getting their doe test carried out.
