Now Available A Children's Story Book on American Exceptionalism

Nov. 15, 2010 - PRLog -- Stand Up Be Read releases its first children's story book on American exceptionalism. With this book parents and grandparents can share the inspirational story of courageous colonists who fought for freedom against a tyrannical ruler.  The main characters are America’s colonists, King George III, and the Founding Fathers.  The relationship between the colonists and King George III developed into an opposition of ideas and questionable actions that created distrust.  This evolved into a revolt by the colonists that started the Revolutionary War.  Led by the Founding Fathers, the colonist were victorious and the result was the birth of the United States of America; a free and independent country governed for and by the will of the people.

Nickie Summers, the book's author, says "It’s a perfect book to help parents and grandparents spark conversation with children about individual liberties verses government control.  Freedom is under assault in America and it is our generations responsibility to educate our children so they are prepared to fulfill the legacy to protect and preserve the constitutional path set forth by the Founding Fathers."  This book is written to be a preschooler’s first book on the principles of liberty, freedom and the uniqueness of the United States of America.  Parents and grandparents can read it as a bedtime story or anytime story to introduce a child, prior to entering formal school, to the birth of the United States of America, the legacy of the Founding Fathers, and the significance of the Constitution.
