Nov. 10, 2010 - PRLog -- Singapore – Frost & Sullivan will be hosting the Telecom Transformation Asia Pacific 2010 Summit from December 1-2, 2010. With Strategic Partner INTEC and Partner IXIA endorsing the summit, C-Level dialogues and interactive panel discussions along with stand-alone presentations will be showcased over the course of 2 full-days. The theme of the summit, ‘Journey to the Smart Pipe’, aptly describes the telecommunication industry’s transformation process.

The telecommunication industry is constantly pressured to evolve with increasing competition, and there is a need for differentiation and constant search for competitive edge. Many telecommunication service providers are actively competing to retain or gain market share. They are challenged to move from a capital-intensive, technology-focused model to a user-centric service-delivery model.

Nitin Bhat, Partner at Frost & Sullivan, commented, “A holistic transformation is the need of the hour for telecom service providers facing the twin pressure of limited organic growth and deteriorating margins. This transformation will need to encompass business models, infrastructure, sales & marketing, financial and around OSS/BBS.”

He adds, “The Frost & Sullivan Telecom Transformation Asia Pacific Summit aims to bring together senior industry executives, thought leaders and solution providers to deliberate on the transformation process and derive a road-map for the same.”

The 2 day-long forum will further discuss and elaborate on some of the most relevant considerations in the transformation process, which include Dumb Pipe Risk and Risk Mitigation; Smart Pipe and Telecom Transformation; Delivering Telecoms Transformation; OSS/ BSS Transformation; Network Migration: IP Transformation and LTE; and Business Models through Cloud Services.

Program highlights include case study talks by CEOs who have successfully transformed their companies, dialogue with C-Level industry personnel exploring the transformation of business models and strategies, panel discussions involving different business functional leaders of regional telecom operators who will share their insight from a technology, marketing, and finance perspective, as well as expert industry insights from Frost & Sullivan analysts.
