Metro Services, Inc. adds another “Green” designation to their new environmental programs.

Nov. 9, 2010 - PRLog -- The Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) has awarded Scott Norton of Metro Services, Inc. the label of Certified Energy Auditor.

Chattanooga, TN, September 30, 2010: Metro Services, Inc. (MSI) has added another “Green” feather to their industrial offerings hat with the recently awarded AEE Certified Energy Auditor designation. Awarded to MSI’s Scott Norton, the designation warrants energy testing services for an entire building structure. Norton, already a Process Heating Specialist through the United States Department of Energy, can now perform energy audits on specific pieces of equipment, entire buildings or a combination of the two. The services cover electrical, steam, natural gas & propane as well as fuel oil usage. Upon completion of an energy audit the customer receives a thorough report showing actual usage, ideas for energy conservation, and projected savings. Customers who have signed up for this service have found a significant savings on their utility bills. According to MSI’s Scott Norton, “People realize that there are better alternatives out there, but most people just don’t know who to call or what all is involved. The beauty of Metro’s offerings is that we are a single source provider for efficient HVAC, Solar and Combustion offerings. After a site visit MSI generates a report showing energy consumption in real dollars and units of operation. The report includes a savings calculation showing recommended changes and their respective savings in both real dollars and units of operation. The report clearly shows how efficient you are, how efficient you can be, and most importantly how much money can be saved.”
