Frank "Agni" Eickermann Named to Advisory Committee on Global Peace

Nov. 2, 2010 - PRLog -- Kapilvastu Day Movement Global Committee’s formed and name Frank “Agni” Eickermann as part of the seven member International advisory committee.

As part of the World Peace Movement, Kapilvastu Day will be shared as a global holiday in order to spread the Budha’s peace and nonviolence across the globe. On December 1, 2009, the Kapilvastu Day Movement Global Committee under Ram Kumar Shrestha celebrated its first event.  This year’s celebration events to be held onDecember 1st as the second annual global Kapilavastu are underway to spread the Movement’s Peace Mission at both a national level in Nepal and Internationally.

“We shall find peace. We shall hear the angels; we shall see the sky sparkling with diamonds.” [Anton Chekhov]  is the Kapilavastu Day World Peace Movement mantra. According to Ram Kumar Shrestha “ A peace movement could be defined as a collection of activities aimed at ending, or at least minimizing, violence and wars in a variety of different situations through an assortment of methods.”  “This decision is in our hands.  Currently, it is not too late, however, tomorrow it could be.”
