Maxell Launches Coin Type Lithium Battery At Electronica, Munich

Nov. 2, 2010 - PRLog -- London, UK, (Nov 2010), Maxell Europe Ltd, manufacturers of leading data storage and professional broadcast media is excited to announce their participation at the forthcoming Electronica Show in Munich
(9th – 12th Nov), to launch the new Coin Type Lithium Battery (CLB) – a compact high-power battery designed for small portable devices that require high power use. A demonstration of CLB will be shown in Hall B2, Stand 637

Industrial Batteries including new Coin Type Lithium Battery (CLB)
The new Coin Type Lithium Rechargeable Battery (CLB2032) has a high rate discharge characteristic of up to 2C (140mA) that is made possible by the battery’s unique stacked electrode structure. Featuring high power, superior safety, long battery life and high reliability, this battery is suitable for many applications including Medical Sensor Networks, Active ID Tags, Multifunctional Watches. Hearing Aids, Wireless Headsets and many more.
Other Industrial Batteries on display include Lithium Ion Rechargeable, Mercury Free Silver Oxide, Heat Resistant Coin Type Batteries and many more.


Optical Lens including Automotive - In Car Lens
On show will be the range of Aspherical Glass and Plastic lenses and lens units, suitable for Imaging, Storage and Automotive Equipment. There will also be a demonstration of the In-Car Lens for safety assurance, offering superior optical performance and wide angle lens unit, widely used for reverse monitoring systems.  Also on display will be the Piezo Actuator which is the Worlds Smallest Lens Unit offering a quick impact drive mechanism for precise and fast moving images. Other Optical Lens on display include Micro Camera Lens for mobile phones, Small High Zoom Lens for Security Systems and many more.

Moulding Services
This range will showcase examples of injection moulding products which have been manufactured for different industries. A selection of Automotive Parts, Food Utensils and Medical Equipment will show the breadth of plastic injection moulding capability and capacity offered.

Industrial Components including Professional Ink and Coil-on-Chip™ RFID Technology
New to the Industrial Components range, Maxell will be displaying samples of Professional Inks, particularly Transparent Conductive Ink for use in Inkjet Printers and in the Electronics market.  

Coil-on-Chip™ RFID Technology recognises electro fine forming technology to offer a radiofrequency identification system, featuring a precision, antenna coil that is directly mounted on the surface of a tiny 2.5mm-square chip. Compact and low cost, RFID Chips can be attached to various materials including test tube reader/writer units, test tubes, PDA examination devices, blood pack units, ID cards and more.

Also on show will be the range of Adhesive Tapes – a range of strong harnessing and electronically conductive tape made specifically for Automotive, Home or Industry use. Manufactured with electro magnetic shielding and electric resistivity, these tapes have higher adhesion compared with general adhesive tapes.
