New voucher code website for mums launched

Nov. 1, 2010 - PRLog -- A new website launched a couple of weeks ago, targeted towards saving money for mums in the UK. Dealsformums is designed to help mums save money on everything related to running a family and household, from groceries to electrical purchases to toys and video gaming. The site features discounts and voucher codes from top retailers and brands along with relevant deals and offers.

The site is run by Loren Nally, a mum herself, who gave up a career in ecommerce and marketing for major blue chip companies to readdress her work life balance. In the new found time at home with her two young children, she found that time is a very precious commodity and feels that retailers could help mums more.

‘We all know that it’s the mums in the family who make the majority of purchasing decisions in a household, but I’m surprised at how little retailers seem to pay attention to this’, says Loren. ‘My aim for the site is to find the offers and discounts that are truly relevant to mums and bring them altogether in one place as mums just don’t have the time to go searching for hours to find the best deals. Times are tough right now, financially, and retailers could do better by targeting this prime audience with select offers’.

The site is still very new but is already attracting attention. It utilises the very social behaviour of its ‘mum’ audience and word is spreading fast.

So far the site has over 100 retailers on board with more in the pipeline. Loren wants to grow the audience further so as to gain some real ‘mum power’ with the retailers and work with them to find the optimum offers that mums really want but importantly, via the channels that mums are actually using.
