Amherst and Northampton, MA Area Wedding Receptions

Oct. 29, 2010 - PRLog -- The Northampton and Amherst areas of Massachusetts are a great place to hold your wedding reception.   The quaint downtown streets of Northampton and Amherst are rich with local artistry and unique restaurants and bars.  I always liked going out dancing in Northampton in my college days.

A combination of local artists and college students (Umass, Amherst, Smith, Hampshire, Mt. Holyoke) make this the chic area of the Pioneer Valley.  That’s probably why so many weddings occur in the Amherst & Northampton areas of Massachusetts.

Here are some of our favorite places to have a wedding reception in the Amherst and Northampton area:

•   The Garden House at Look Park
•   The Red Barn, Amherst College
•   Eric Carle Museum
•   Umass Fine Arts Center

There are many other area banquet facilities to choose from in the Amherst & Northampton MA areas to have your wedding.  While you are in the area, be sure to stop for ice cream at Cook’s Farm (1 East Hadley Road, Hadley, MA).  We DJ’d their daughter’s wedding.  The ice cream is amazing.  We take my kids for ice cream and to pet the animals every time we are up in the area.
