Swansea Fireworks Display returns this Bonfire Night

Oct. 29, 2010 - PRLog -- Sparks in the Dark will see the sky above Brynmill in Swansea light up with a spectacular fireworks display.  Gates open at 5.30pm with the fireworks beginning at 7.30pm.  

To warm the crowd up before the fireworks start, there’ll be a host of family fun including circus skills workshops, glow jugglers and stilt walkers, along with live music on stage from Real Radio and upcoming groups Injustice, Vanquish and The Kixx.

Frances Jenkins, Strategic Manager for Culture, Recreation & Tourism said, “St Helen’s Ground, Swansea is a fantastic venue for this event. It provides an environment where people can enjoy all the fun of a large fireworks display, but in a safe and organised fashion and has an excellent atmosphere too.”
 
Tickets are now on sale and can be purchased online at http://www.swansea.gov.uk/fireworks  or by phone on 01792 475715.

Fireworks tickets can also be purchased in person from the Grand Theatre, Swansea Tourist Information Centre, Mumbles Tourist Information Centre, Swansea Civic Centre and any Active Swansea Leisure Centre.   Family tickets are available up to Thursday 4 November for only £12.50.  

Frances continued “Families in the area can be re-assured that the fireworks at St Helen’s will be the biggest and best display in the area, and people’s safety will be paramount.”
