The Strong Group Construction Selected as Contract Administrators for New Chatham County Jail

Oct. 21, 2010 - PRLog -- (Savannah, GA) The Strong Group, a third generation commercial general contracting firm has been selected as the construction administrator for the expansion of the Chatham County Detention Center. This project is the county’s largest construction project to date with bids at approximately 70 million dollars. The Strong Group will represent the lead architectural firm, L. Robert Kimball & Associates during the construction process as the architect’s on-site representative and project coordinator during the two plus years of construction.  The Strong Group was chosen in part due to its prior experience working for the county on the successful renovation of the Old Chatham County Courthouse on Bull Street.
