Brianna Sylver will teach a class at the IIT Institute of Design this Fall

Oct. 13, 2010 - PRLog -- Chicago, IL - Brianna Sylver, president and founder of Sylver Consulting, will teach a class on user research at the IIT Institute of Design from October 19 trough December 7.

The class “Research Methods for Product Development” is part of the Institute of Design’s graduate program. In this class, students learn how to do research planning in a methodical way. Topics to be covered include the following:

•   How to derive research goals from business goals.
•   How to work with time and budget constraints when planning a project.
•   How to select research and analysis methods to best meet the objectives set forth for the research.
•   How to recruit for research to ensure sound results.
•   How to develop discussion guides and field tools to ensure that cross-comparable data is coming back from the field.

Classes are held every Tuesday evening, 6:30 to 9:30 pm, for graduate students. The school is located at 350 North La Salle Street, 4th Floor, Chicago, IL.
