Dutchess County Regional Chamber of Commerce Receives $500 Donation from Poughkeepsie Agent Hero

Allstate agency owner Tony Nicolis was recently named an Agent Hero by Allstate Insurance Company’s New York Region, and awarded a $500 grant for the Dutchess County Regional Chamber of Commerce Foundation in Poughkeepsie.
 
Oct. 13, 2010 - PRLog -- Allstate agency owner Tony Nicolis was recently named an Agent Hero by Allstate Insurance Company’s New York Region, and awarded a $500 grant for a local youth program.

Nicolis donated the grant to the Dutchess County Regional Chamber of Commerce Foundation in Poughkeepsie, where he has served on the board of directors for the past six years. The Foundation was formed in 2002 to enhance the charitable activities of the Chamber of Commerce through the the provision of funding for educational scholarships.

“As an Allstate agent, I believe it is my responsibility to demonstrate the Good Hands Promise in the Poughkeepsie community every single day,” said Nicolis, whose office is located at 47 Civic Center Plaza. “It is an honor to be able to donate this grant to the Chamber of Commerce Foundation and hopefully touch the lives of the students who are involved.”
