| 1984 Redux Website And Blogs Are Up And RunningA Fort Worth writer has produced a political commentary that directly compares the current trends in America to that of a developing Oceania in Orwell’s 1984. Soon to be released on Election day, the book website has an announcement for voters.
By: Combat Applications Curtiss says “It was supposed to be up and running and book released 1 month prior to elections in order to motivate the readers and encourage them to take out the trash this year.”Besides being an educational and political tool, the website and blogs are designed to assist and guide the reader through the book and enhance their reading experience. The author uses the term “media fusion” to describe the concept of using the computer, internet and book in conjunction to simulate the feeling of doing some of the same “detective work” that Curtiss did during his research for the project. The author comments, “I find it fitting that the book should be released to the general public on Election Day.” This is Curtiss’ second book published on demand through Authorhouse.
