PhotographyCorner.com Announces the Winner of Contest Corner Challenge #78: Strength in Numbers

Oct. 7, 2010 - PRLog -- Photography Corner ( www.PhotographyCorner.com ) has announced that Tamara Mainil is the winner of the site’s latest Contest Corner Challenge, and as such has been awarded a Digital Concepts TR-62N 62” Photo/Video Tripod with Quick-Release & Case provided by the sponsor of the contest: Cameta Camera.  The recent challenge asked photographers to literally photograph numbers (house numbers, phone numbers, street numbers, bus numbers, etc), or to take a photograph of "a number" of something.  PhotographyCorner.com began offering Contest Corner Challenges in July 2004, and new challenges are issued every three to four weeks throughout the year.

With over a quarter of the votes from a total of 32 qualifying submissions, Tamara won the recent photography challenge CCC#78: Strength in Numbers with her photograph called “Rien ne va Plus” - a photograph of a roulette ball resting in the black 13 slot of a roulette wheel.  This is the first Contest Corner Challenge win accomplished by Tamara Mainil.

Contest Corner Challenges at www.PhotographyCorner.com are issued to site members in the community’s forum and on the Corner Blog (http://www.photographycorner.com/blog).  While Premiere Members of Photography Corner (requires a yearly or lifetime subscription) are only eligible to win some of the bigger prizes, all members of the site are always invited to submit photographs to the contest, and all have a chance to win prizes in each contest.  Everyone is invited to participate in the week-long voting window to vote on contest winners and discuss submissions after they have all been received.
