"The Persian Gulf" - presentation by Mitchell Krauss, former CBS Cairo correspondent

Mitchell Krauss, Former CBS News Cairo Correspondent, will speak on The Persian Gulf at the Great Decisions program at the New Canaan Library on October 25, 2010.
 
Oct. 6, 2010 - PRLog -- Stamford, CT – Mitchell Krauss, former CBS News Cairo Correspondent whose 25 years with the network included service as Middle East Correspondent, United Nations Correspondent and Economic Correspondent, will discuss current issues in The Persian Gulf on October 25 at 7:00 P.M. at the New Canaan Library.   This free program is part of the Great Decisions series.

Previously, Mitchell was anchor and chief interviewer for Channel 13’s (PBS) Newsfront.  He has received numerous radio and television awards, including recognition from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences; Sigma Delta Chi, the national journalism organization; the Peabody Awards Committee and the Associated Press. He was also Chairman of the Radio and Television News Analysts Association (ARTNA) and the Economic Correspondents Association.
