WORKFORCE CENTRAL FLORIDA Celebrates JobVantage Grand Opening with Events and Job Fair

WHAT:    
WORKFORCE CENTRAL FLORIDA (WCF) will open its second JobVantage office, a new concept that the organization is rolling out in Orange and Seminole counties.  This smaller niche office will cater to professional-level job seekers, and services are limited to employment assistance, job search activities and enhanced placement services.  Unemployment and welfare services are not available at this location.

In celebration of the grand opening, WCF will host the following events:

EVENTS:    
Monday, November 1, 2010

9 a.m. - JobVantage Ribbon Cutting and Open House
- Location: JobVantage – 1563 Florida Mall Ave., Orlando, FL 32809
- Open to Public – Advanced registration is not required.

9 – 10 a.m. - Creating a Cyber Safe Resume Career Enhancement Seminar
- Location: JobVantage – 1563 Florida Mall Ave. Orlando, FL 32809

12:30 – 4 p.m. - WORKFORCE CENTRAL FLORIDA Job Fair
- Location: The Florida Hotel and Conference Center - 1500 Sand Lake Rd., Orlando, FL 32809
- There is no cost to participate.  Advanced registration is not required.
- In honor of Veterans Day, all veterans will receive VIP admission at 12 p.m.
