Sept. 19, 2010 - PRLog -- Battery Hens are a subject close to Liz's heart since she successfully re-homed a small flock early 2009.  Liz and her partner, Mark regularly update their blog on Rehoming Rescued Hens with the aim of helping others avoid the same pitfalls and mistakes they made when they first rehomed their Battery Hens.

Mark and Liz will using articles, pictures and video to show the Hens arriving and their progress as they recover and develop.  Liz is passionate about Battery Hens and wants to help as many people as she can through her blog.

Liz: “I'm so looking forward to getting our new girls next weekend.  They can look quite pitiful when they they first arrive being so weak, with feathers missing and unsure of everything.  They've never been allowed to behave as chickens, yet within a few hours they've learnt to scratch, peck and dust bath – it's just magical.”
