Creehan's Cuvee Hosts Mollydooker Inaugural Wine Dinner

Sept. 16, 2010 - PRLog -- Chef Tim Creehan's Cuvee Bistro restaurant has been chosen for the inaugural wine dinner featuring Australia's 2009 and 2010 Mollydooker vintages as part of the label's debut in the United States.  Fine wine consultant Michael McIntosh of Transatlantic Wine and Spirits will host and pour at the event.  Creehan has created a special five course menu pairing each of the featured vintages with specifically chosen items from his award winning culinary arsenal.

Featured vintages include The Violinist 2010, Gigglepot 2009, Enchanted Path 2009, Carnival of Love 2009, and the 2009 Velvet Glove, of which only 280 bottles have been allocated to Florida. The Wine Advocate's Robert Parker, considered the most influential wine critic in the world, is expected to give the 2009 Velvet Glove a 100 point score.

Mollydooker makers Sarah and Sparky Marquis are famous for creating award winning wines for Fox Creek, Henry's Drive, Parsons Flat, Shirvington and Marquis Philips. Now exclusively producing their own Mollydooker wines, their dedication and devotion to their craft has earned them the title of Australian Winemakers of the Year and produced a Wine Spectator Top 10 Wine of the World two years in a row, and five wines that have scored 99-points from The Wine Advocate.
